This exhaust fan is suitable for extracting kitchen grease. The housing is made of galvanised sheet steel and lined with 40 mm non-combustible mineral wool according to DIN EN 13501-1, building material class A1. The mounted mounting rails are fitted with rubber vibration dampers and can also be moved on the casing, allowing for three blowing directions. The inlet and outlet openings have standard dimensions and double lip seals for airtight connections. A grease collecting tray/condensate drain is integrated in the housing, which can only be used when the discharge direction is up. The condensate drain connection is located underneath the base of the unit. The fan section that swings outwards is also used as an access door for cleaning and maintenance work and can be locked in the open position.

The backward-curved, high-performance impeller consists of powder-coated steel sheet and is mounted on the shaft of a three-phase motor with a special shaft seal that prevents the ingress of oil and water. The impeller is dynamically balanced according to quality class G 6.3 of DIN / ISO 1940, on 2 planes. The ball bearings are maintenance-free and life-lubricated, sealed on both sides. Speed control possible via frequency converter. The motor is located outside the air flow and is thus optimally protected against dirt. Thermal motor protection must be installed on site (thermal motor current monitoring via FU or motor protection switch).
